Windstar Chicago celebrated Earth Day at Eco-Fest at Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside, Illinois.

We had a booth where we distributed Earth Day related information and where kids could design, construct and take home their own Earth Day buttons. We also gave away free trees....75 pin oak and 75 red oaks that were already two years old with very good root systems.

Eight or nine Windstar Chicago Connection members were at the booth at various times to make sure things were going well.

We had a GREAT time!! It was especially gratifying to see people taking the tree saplings and to see the kids get creative and enjoy themselves.

It was such a wonderful success that I'm sure we'll do it more often!
