A cooperative project between the Windstar Foundation and Plant-It 2020
 
  • Trees are disappearing faster than we are replacing them. Even with advances in recycling and the explosion of electronic communication, paper consumption continues to rise at dramatic rates.
  • Entire forests are sustaining substantial damage from hurricanes, wildfires and other natural disasters.
  • The future lies in each of our hands and efforts to replenish this invaluable resource are underway.
Your TREES from GrassRoots will:
Reforest areas in the U. S. and abroad
Preserve and maintain wildlife habitats
Slow down the effects of global warming
Minimize the destruction of the ozone layer
Improve the air we breathe

2. Fill out and return the numbered portion of the card(s) to the Windstar Foundation.
3. Include a check made out to the Windstar Foundation totaling $5.00 for each tree ordered or 5 trees for $20.00.
 
THAT'S IT! Plant-It 2020 will receive the tree order and the planting will begin!

Plant-It 2020 ensures that with each tree-planting project, the trees are protected by contract from future harvest. Additionally, a comprehensive maintenance plan is enacted and tree selection is appropriate to the area where planted.
