Windstar in Schools is an exciting new programme which is part of the Windstar EARTHcamps Programme and has been designed to be delivered within term time either as part of the curriculum or as an after school activity. Community Garden / Community Allotments
Would you be interested is taking part in an exciting new project? Do you enjoy gardening and the outdoors? Why not register your interest in starting either a Community Garden or a Community Allotment.
There are many benefits, fresh air, exercise, healthy eating all good for both the mind and body. No harmful pesticides used so you can be sure of the goodness of your food. Great places to see an experience wildlife close at hand, meet with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Peace Cloth and the Children's Peace Cloth
Can you sew? Are you creative? Are you a Brown Owl or Youth Group Leader looking for a project? Would you like to put your talents to good use and help create a truly global work of art? Why not join in making a panel or panels for the John Denver Peace Cloth.
The Peace Cloth is a beautiful, creative work of art that is the culmination of work from people around the world, pieces of cloth sewn together in panels to convey the hopes and prayers of individuals who believe that by coming together, we can make a difference. The Peace Cloth has travelled the world and In September 2000 was presented taken to the United Nations in New York as part of a worldwide demonstration of Peace.
