Windstar Foundation Presents...
Windstar's EARTHcamp began in 2000 as an environmentally based summer day camp for children in the Roaring Fork Valley of Snowmass, Colorado. Since that time, EARTHcamps have been presented in cities across the country and internationally with a camp in Jerusalem, Israel.

EARTHcamp's unique curriculum now includes camps with changing themes and activities, mini-camps, an after-school program, and a new multigenerational camp designed to give families time to discover the healing and bonding power that comes from spending time in nature.

We at Windstar, like many educational experts, believe that nature plays an important part in the health of humanity, no matter what our age. EARTHcamp invites us to return to nature, inspires new viewpoints of the way we live on our planet and above all, asks us to find our place within the ecosystem we call EARTH!

GOALS:

EARTHcamp inspires us to care for our world by:
  • Presenting nature in an active, creative and hands-on manner
  • Highlighting the necessity for biodiversity
  • Offering a correlated curriculum of science, games, visual arts, theater arts and music

MISSION:

It is our intent that everyone who attends an EARTHcamp will develop a love and respect for the Earth that will last a lifetime.
